I have an app for a daily devotional with scriptures of the day and an app that gives thoughts or mini devotionals for every day of the year. I just got done reading my mini devotional for the day and it's titled Marriage and Family. The subject is Ephesians 5:22, "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord". It goes on to say how we are supposed to submit cheerfully to our bosses, the government, and parents, but it doesn't exactly spell out what "submit to your husbands" means in this verse. So, I come to you friends and family on facebook to ask what your interpretation of this verse means...

one definition of submit is to offer consideration to another feelings. True submission is not to do as you're told when you're told, but to turn your heart towards another person so that you consider their wishes before you make any decisions
