A year ago today!

I wanted to look back and see what I was doing a year ago.  So many things have changed, and when I read what I was doing a year ago today I thought...couldn't be more perfect for us today.  :)

"Day 18: I am crowned with God's favor. His plans for me will take me further than I ever imagined. I believe God is going to prosper me, and I'm excited about the blessing He's sending my way. I accept the fullness that He has in store for me."

Follow Up: The Lord continues to bless us, our families, and our home. We are blessed beyond belief and are so thankful for the things God is doing in our lives.

We continue to be blessed here on the Baehr Block!  Things have surely changed in a years time, and we are excited to see what the rest of 2013 brings to us.

We hope you are having a great Saturday afternoon.  It's a gorgeous day in our neighborhood!

And we're back...

Longest commercial break ever huh?  2012 Christmas Holidays came and went, January was crazier than crazy, and now we are at the halfway point in February.  The last few weeks, I have found myself thinking in longer thoughts than a Facebook status will allow which reminds me that I have a blog I have been neglecting...so today, I'm back!  For real this time... :)

Before I start my regular blogging schedule, let me give you a brief update on our lives through December and January...

December:

On December 23rd, 5 days after my last post on here, we found out that my grandfather passed away.  Some days it's so hard to say that this was a blessing, but it was.  He couldn't walk, could barely communicate, and hardly ever ate so of course it was a blessing for him to go on to somewhere greater than Earth, but the human side of me wants him here... for me...and for my mom.  We spent Christmas day here and then headed to Alabama for the service.  Overall, it was a great trip.  We had a lot of good family time, great food, and a lot of laughs and tears.

January:

Once we got home, it was time for 2013.  We spent New Year's Day at my parents for black eyed pea soup and then started out the most hectic month ever.  Most of you don't know, but I am in school to be a teacher.  February 1 was the deadline for me to student teach this fall and graduate in December 2013, and I had 20 tasks (assignments) to get done in one months time.  Well, I DID IT!  YAY!!!!  I will officially graduate in December of 2013 and I am so excited!  :)

So now we are in February, days are flying by.  I am continuing to work, work on school, and Baehr is just working away.  Life is good at our house, and I hope life in December, January, and part of February has been good to you!
